Meet her at her factory, GDE Leather, in Meintjies Street, Middelburg. Her mascot, a fiery stallion, guards the entrance.

On a guided tour through the factory the visitors become aware of the variety of goods that are manufactured there. As the name implies leather products are first and foremost.

Being practical, gifts like handbags, purses, hats, belts and warm winter slippers are made, to mention just a few.

When the need arose to repair shoes, this gap was also filled.
